Tech Service Engineer

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Answers Technical Service phone calls.
* Maintains inventory of field replaceable units for Tech Service issues.
* Repairs company products and components.
* Assists and instructs field personnel on repair of products in the field.
* Travels to repair units in the field as required.
* Repairs and debugs computer systems for products.
* Debugs and repairs components of products including motors, encoders, potentiometers and motion control systems.
* Maintains Tech Service records.
* Documents and improves Tech Service processes.
* Ships, receives and logs Tech Service inventory as required.
* Maintains Sales Demo inventory.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Knowledge of hospital protocols regarding equipment
* Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems
* Knowledge of electromechanical systems
* Knowledge of wireless networks
* Knowledge of quality systems

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years work experience with computers and electromechanical systems
* AA Electronics (or equivalent)
* Requires ability to travel.
* Must be able to lift 50 lb.
